Kacico Dance, Kansas City's Contemporary Dance Company Don't wait another second to check us out ! ! ! The Kacico School of Contemporary Dance:We offer classes in the following categories: Dance Beginnings (Ages 2-8): Movement Exploration, Modern, Ballet, Tap Youth Technique (Ages 9-18): Modern, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Improvisation, Pointe Adult: Modern, Ballet, Tap, Improvisation, Contact Improvisation We also offer professional* classes at our downtown location for $5 on an RSVP basis. See below for summer class information and click below on school of dance for more information. Enrollment is now open for Summer Class Samplers Youth: June 15-16, 22-23 July 6-7, 13-14 Each day will be a sample of classes including modern, ballet, improv, tap, jazz, stretch and composition. You may register for any combination of the 8 days. No partial days. Cost: 1 day $35 5 days $95 2 days $50 6 days $110 3 days $65 7 days $125 4 days $80 8 days $140 Adult: June 18, 25 7:00-9:30pm July 9, 16 7:00-9:30pm Each day will be a sample of classes including modern, ballet, tap and contact improv. We appreciate their continued support of dance in Kansas City. Kacico Dance recently received a $3000 grant from the Truman Heartland Community Foundation for "The Song and Dance Project, 2009." We appreciate their support in making this project possible. Kacico Dance recently received a $2000 grant from Target for outreach programs. We greatly appreciate their support. Kacico Dance recently received two generous grants from the Missouri Arts Council. One grant is for the 2008-2009 season, and one is for assistance in purchasing computer equipment for our new office at Kacico Studios West. We greatly appreciate the support of the Missouri Arts Council. Kacico Dance has been awarded a $3000 grant from the ArtsKC Catalyst Fund for the 2009 season. We appreciate their support. Kacico Dance has been selected to be on the Missouri Arts Council Touring Roster for the upcoming year. Missouri organizations and presenters may apply for matching funds to present Kacico Dance in their community.
