Katie Thomann - Dancer

Katie Thomann is a graduate of UMKC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a former Kansas City Ballet student apprentice and faculty member.  Katie primarily studied at the Kansas City Ballet underneath Karen Brown and has the distinction of being the only student ever invited to choreograph for KCBS performances.  She has also studied and performed with American Ballet Theatre New York, the Milwaukee Ballet School, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, The Jillana School, and the Rock School of Pennsylvania.  Katie had the opportunity to dance with REACH last season.  Katie is formally trained in ballroom dance, and has enjoyed teaching to couples and individuals for the past 6 years.  She is currently training for International Latin ballroom competitions.  This is her first season with Kacico Dance.
